It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Jk…after this exam storm. The bulk of finals may have just started, or for some of you, the worst are behind you and the clouds are beginning to move way for some light. You guys seem to agree that here is no better way to lighten up for Christmas than lights from Aurora Winter Fest! There are amusement rides, hot chocolate, and of course, dreamy lights everywhere.
Exam Jam

Looking for a new environment to rush on assignments? Need a quiet space to jam for your finals? Sick of the long line for coffee? Tired of the crowded library (aka Robarts)? Don't fret, WE GOT YOU COVERED! We know your plight, and we want to support you during this rough ride in the semester (as we always do). MSSA will be hosting an exam jam session at the times and places listed below. Drop by at anytime if you like to study with friends, enjoy free coffee or even take a quick nap!
Five Bucks Friday

Do you know TGIF? It means you deserve a break after one hectic week of classes! MSSA has planned a series of Five Bucks Friday activities, which will happen bi-monthly.
To show our appreciation to all our members, we will be having our first Five Bucks Friday FREE for the first 25 members who register (After that it will be $5)! The reservation is on a first come first serve basis!
Deepavali Lunch

It's time for one of our most celebrated festivals in Singapore and Malaysia -- the Festival of Lights, Deepavali! So of course our MSSA family is celebrating it with you! Join us for lunch at UTSAV, Yorkville for some titillating and savory Indian cuisine!
Halloween Condo Party

This Spooky October, we’re going to have MSSA's first ever condo party! You know what that means: DO NOT come to the party unless we don’t recognize you, because everyone will be transmuted into their darkest alter egos at the party. We’re also having it at one of the luxurious U Condos downtown! Enjoy an all-you-can-drink night in your hollowed pumpkins! That being said, feel free to bring whatever (LEGAL) alcoholic potions that you’ve just brewed up in your witch’s pot.
Fly Mee To The Moon (MSSA x UTMAS) ​

Tis’ the season of round moons in skies and cakes! MSSA is proud to host a Mid-Autumn festival themed evening! Come play and learn mahjong and you will leave this evening with the ability to blow your hostile mother-in-law’s mind (just like Rachel in Crazy Rich Asians). Stick around for mee goreng and snacks from home! Afterwards, you can revive those bygone days by taking a literal walk down memory lane with us around campus with traditional paper lanterns! (Don’t worry, we will be using LED candles to keep you safe.)

MSSA is kicking off our wholesome list of exciting events in 2018-19 that will elevate your college experience immensely with our very own orientation!! We welcome all members and non-members, first year and returning students alike!
Summer Canoeing Adventure

In case you forgot, summer isn’t over yet - there is one more event still coming at you! MSSA and MASAT are co-hosting a canoeing event! While the waters are still flowing, grab your paddles and hop into the Voyageur Canoe as we cruise through the Toronto harbour and the thirteen Toronto Islands.

Hotpot x Eat Your Stress Away

Come out to our MSSA annual CNY dinner to enjoy the good food and warmth in this freezing weather. Different from previous year, we will be having our dinner at North York this year. That means greater hype and lower price!
Condo Party

Welcome back! MSSA is having a condo party at 7-11pm at 1101 Bay St. Come join us for some games and pizzas before the stress and assignments start rolling in! Light refreshments and party food will be provided, but please remember to have some dinner beforehand. Get ready for a fun night!
