Our Mission

Being 9,000 miles away from the familiarity of home (and its heat!) can be tough without a support system. Here at UTMSSA, we strive to create just that -- your home away from home.

We aim to be a warm and welcoming community for all Malaysian and Singaporean students studying abroad at the University of Toronto St George Campus. We organise a huge range of fun activities at least once a month, such as makan sessions, relaxed game and movie nights, exciting day trips, participation in ASEAN events and much more! In order to provide our members with the best possible experiences, we also maintain good relations and organise exciting collaborations with other clubs on campus, as well as with external associations.

Executive Elections

Traditionally, there are 2 rounds of executive elections in a year. The core executive members are elected at the end of each academic year in April.

The latest updates regarding roles for hire will be posted on Instagram and our website.

For voters (registered members only): A list of candidates will be released and a voting form will be emailed out on March 30th. The voting period ends on April 3rd 2022 at 11.59pm.
