Jingle Bells~ Jingle Bells~ With the temperature dropping, and the incessant Christmas Carol on the radio you know Christmas will be here soon! So, we are inviting everyone here to join us in our mini adventure to Toronto Christmas Market on Saturday, Noverber 19. Please remember to bring cash, and if you are 19 or above, please bring your ID in case you want to buy beer or try their mulled wine.

Hey! It's that time of year again where we come together to celebrate the festival of lights, and this time we're teaming up with MASAT! So join us this Saturday (Oct 29th, 2016) for an Indian Buffet at the Little India Restaurant. But wait...there's more! We will also be going Canada's Wonderland in the evening for their annual HALLOWEEN HAUNT! 

Korean BBQ Night

It has been 3 weeks of school and finally thanksgiving break is here! With midterms and assignments deadlines coming up, let's take a few hours off during this long weekend and enjoy some ALL YOU CAN EAT Korean BBQ! That's right, ALL YOU CAN EAT. Plus, you get to immerse yourself in the orchestra of Malaysian/Singaporean accents (while stuffing yourself with lots of meat). So, be sure to RSVP as soon as possible!

MSSA Welcoming & Orientation 2016

To the oldies hope you had a great summer and to the new-ies, welcome to Toronto! This Sunday, come for MSSA's very own orientation, a fun-filled day where you get to meet our fellow members over a gathering packed with games, food and making new friends. Lunch will be potluck style too! All forms of food & drinks are welcomed but pork-free/halal food is advised in consideration for our Muslim brothers & sisters. At the end of event, you may register as an official member of MSSA 2016/17. Registered members may enjoy perks like subsidized event fees, voting rights, and a FREE MSSA T-shirt.

It’s that time of the year again! As usual, MSSA (Malaysian and Singaporean Association) will be having a booth at UTSU Clubs Day this year. Come and learn more about our unique Malaysian/Singaporean culture or talk to our friendly EXCOs about all the fun we will be having throughout the year.

Annual Gala Dinner 2016

You are invited to join us in MSSA’s last and the most prestigious special event of the year. There is an Italian saying that goes - una cena senza vino e come un giorno senza sole, which means “a meal without wine is a day without sunshine”. A Gala Dinner without MSSA is a day without sunshine. After almost a month of grueling finals, come along and spent your last academic year Friday night with your family in Canada! Make it a memorable one; take plenty of photos; remember to capture the MOMENT!

Essay deadline popping up? 20% Assignment due tomorrow? Having 2 finals, 1 lab test & 1 oral exam, and 94105246 things to study for the coming week? Well we hope you're doing well, and as a reward for your hard work, MSSA will be having a little makan session by the end of the week! As you might notice, dinner is going to be slightly early. We've done it considering you peeps may have an extra pile of work at home, a end-sem party to attend, or want to spend more time with each other.Come makan, chill, and maybe take a beer to relief your sorrows on last day of school.

Stressed out from cramming for midterms? But yo it's FriYAY! Why not take a break between intense bouts of studying and come join us for a night of wild fun! We will be hanging out at the Prenup Pub on March 11th, 7.30 pm. Please RSVP by Wednesday evening to confirm if you're going! We also encourage you to spread a word and bring a friend! We're looking forward to seeing old friends and new faces. See you guys there!!

Reading Week Chill-Out

Following our CNY dinner, we're also having a small ice skating/dinner event at Nathan Philips Square during reading week! Come down to chill and enjoy a bit of ice skating at the famous rink down at Nathan Philips Square with us! If you don't have ice skates, no worries, there are ice skate rentals on site! Not your cup of tea? Worried about people watching your embarrassing first attempt at ice skating? Then join us after for our sushi buffet event at Fushimi Japanese buffet dinner!

Chinese New Year Dinner

Hope everyone is doing well in the first 3 weeks of the winter semester, and coping with winter (which has been not so brutal this year #foreverthankful)! Anyway, to melt away your winter woes, Chinese New Year is just around the corner and of course, MSSA will be hosting its annual CNY dinner! We really hope to see everyone there, and may you eat to your heart's content! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR & GONG XI FA CAI!

Korean BBQ Winter Welcome Back Dinner

Happy New Year!! Hope you all had a good winter break. Must have been great to finally something besides studying and stressing right? Anyways, we will be having a winter welcome back dinner and what better way to do so than have all you can eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ. Yupp, pork belly and bulgogi... The price is gonna be about $23 each, but for unlimited amount of meat, it's pretty worth. Get your bellies ready!
